Does your back and neck hurt from sitting infront of the computer? Do you
need relief?

If you have been searching for relief then this might be the best review you have ever stumbled across. Your back and neck pain stem from the way you sit in your chair for an extended amount of time. This pain may even cause you to stop working earlier than you wanted or needed too. Well, I have been throught it. I have experience the ache and pain, and I have experience the relief. So imagine for just one second, living a life without the nagging pain. So if there was a way to fix it would you?

Well Chiropractor referred me to it!

I was at my chiropractor's office complaining about the pain in my neck and back. He asked me what I did for work, so I went on to tell him that I am on the computer most of the time. He stopped me right there and said "That is your problem."

He went on to explain to me how we sit when we are at the computer:

When we sit our neck pulls forward, which causes our shoulders to go down as well, and then our back. Our muscles our tightening up to keep us from falling over. Sounds strange to me but this is a comfortable position for us because it is natural. This bad posture can cause strains. Ouch!! He then proceed to tell me about ergonomic chairs, and I was intreged by what he was telling me.

Ergonomic office chairs are designed to aid you in sitting. There are build in pressure points for your back in the chair. So I started to search online, and there are many too choose from, and many different price ranges. But I narrowed it down to two different chairs the Herman Miller Aeron Chair and the Humanscale Freedom's Ergonomic Chair.

I just liked more things about the Herman Miller Aeron Office Chair. It has sort of a futuristic look. The mesh on the back of the seat that looks good and offers you a better support. This chair just seemed to fit me perfectly, that I could see what all of the fuss was about. A chair that you actually had enough support to make you feel relaxed enough, not to have to tighten up your muscles to prevent you from falling over.

Here is a list of the adjustments that can be made:

1- The armrest pivot inward for the support of your forearms, for when you are typing.
2- The arm height is adjustable.
3- The lumber pad adjusts to suit your body.

The only thing that I got mixed feelings about was the diffuculty in setting it up. Some consumer reviews said it was easy and other's said it wasn't. What was weird was that they were at either extreme of the coin. Then I found out that there are video's on the internet to show you how to adjust this chair to your ergonomic requirements. That was great to me because reading the instructions arent' always easy to get the full gist of what you can do. But watching a video and seeing it first hand makes it that much easier to comprehend. So the setup of this ergonomic chair, was a breeze.

Both of these ergonomic office chairs were on the pricey side, but how my chiropractor described it to me, "Why torture yourself, if you don't have too!". These ergonomic office chairs will last and they will relieve you from unnecessary pain that you don't have to be in. So check it out at Herman Miller Aeron Chair
